Clinical grade temperature sensor provides ± 0.1 ° C (maximum) accuracy for thermometer applications
The human body temperature sensor can accurately measure the temperature and provide over temperature alarm / stop / shutdown output. The equipment uses a high-resolution sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to convert the temperature measurement value to a digital method. When soldered on the final PCB, the accuracy conforms to ASTME1112 clinical thermometer specifications. Communicate via an I2C compatible 2-wire serial interface.
The I2C serial interface withstands the specification of writing bytes, reading bytes, sending bytes, and accepting byte commands to read temperature data and equip open-drain over-temperature shutdown output behavior.
The body temperature sensor has three address selection lines, for a total of 32 available addresses. The sensor has a supply voltage scale of 2.7V to 3.3V, a low supply current of 600μA, and an I2C compatible interface for maintenance, making it an aspiring choice for wearable fitness and medical applications.
The device is available in an 8-pin TDFN package, and the operating temperature range is 0 ° C to + 50 ° C.
